A Los Angeles native from a large musical family, Karolyn Dudro grew up surrounded by a myriad of diverse musical influences. This has allowed her to adapt her sound to many genres and styles. Karolyn has a special love for the jazz tradition and draws inspiration from such vocalists as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Nancy Wilson, Peggy Lee, Jo Stafford, and Astrud Gilberto. Karolyn’s vocal range and tonal clarity evince her classical roots, a foundation which fosters her unique marriage of technical skill and soulful story-telling.
